San Vincenzo
San Vincenzo the “ Etruscan Coast Pearl” once was a small fisher town, now is an important touristic center that involves new visitors every years from Italy and other foreign Countries.
The small town is suitable for man, quite and nice. The pedestrian area is full of shops, restaurants-pizzerias and coffee shops. Its strategic position allows to organize last-minute tours on the coast at Natural Park and at the wonderful Tuscan surroundings.
It is particularly suitable for families with children because it has got a beautiful white sand that goes on for many kilometers and accomodates Bathing Establishments, mainly in the central area, equipped free beach with some “Punti Azzurri” where is possible to get assistance.
The sea is blue and in the urban part not so deep while in the part of Rimigliano’ s Park the water, at the shore, it is a couple meters high.
Il clima ed il porto
The climate of San Vincenzo is mild even in the winter season , the air is clear and a light breeze that characterizes the coast, supporting the practise of many sea sports (boat trips, sailing, windsurf , diving, fishing).
Ancient and important trade call, nowadays the “ Marina di San
Vincenzo”, equipped and spacious, it can accomodate hundred of berths. This area is comfortable:near to the beach and the town center with its shops. It is perfect for an evening walk with clothes shops, restaurants and live music clubs. If you want a relaxing time, you will be really excited walking along the pier where the “Statue of the Sailor” by Giampaolo Talani, presides the entrance of the Port.
Rimigliano's Park
The Rimigliano’s Park is one of the most actractive place in the coast. It is a green strip extended for120 hectars with a splendid natural Pinewood with 6 kilometers of free beach and it is reachable also by bike through a bicycle path for few kilometers .
A really unique setting with dirt paths going through the wild woods arriving directly on the sandy dunes covered by Junipers, Myrtle,Mastic, that slope gently towards the sea.
Inside there are tables for lunch, showers, toilets, two refreshment stands, tool for gymnastic activities and wooden walkways that allow the disables access to the beach.
Il Nido dell'Aquila
Il naturismo è praticato in un tratto di spiaggia libera nel Parco Naturale di Rimigliano, chiamato Nido dell’Aquila, a pochi km a sud di San Vincenzo (LI);regolarmente autorizzato dal Comune con Delibera n. 83 del 24/03/2010 in seguito alla richiesta da parte di ESNA (Ente Sviluppo Nido Dell’Aquila).
La spiaggia è alta e di sabbia chiara, l’acqua è cristallina, la natura ancora incontaminata. L’area dove si pratica il naturismo è di circa 700 mt.
Dietro la spiaggia si estende una bellissima pineta, attrezzata con tavoli per tranquilli spuntini.
Da lontano la spiaggia e’ riconoscibile per i numerosi aquiloni in volo, fra cui il grande aquilone giallo con la scritta ANITA – FKK o la bandiera gialla del Nido dell’Aquila (FKK) che sventola nella zona naturista.
Arrivarci è facile:
dall’abitato di San Vincenzo, basta percorrere in direzione sud la Via della Principessa che corre parallela al mare fra San Vincenzo e Populonia.
Dopo circa 6 km dall’uscita dell’abitato si trovano sul lato mare due poderi, distanti fra loro circa 200 mt. Il primo è stato ristrutturato e adesso si chiama Podere Tuscania, mentre il secondo podere detto “Nido dell’Acquila” è diroccato
Dal podere diroccato seguire il sentiero fino al mare, quindi camminare lungo la spiaggia per altri 300 metri verso sinistra in direzione del primo promontorio.
In tutto occorrono non piu’ di 5 minuti di cammino.
